My purpose for starting this blog is two-fold:
First, I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in English and in 2013 with a Master’s which emphasized curriculum design (the degree’s technical name is Ministry Leadership). I shocked my parents be moving six hours away to earn my Master’s and even more so by not coming back home once I finished my degree. Their favorite question is “when are you going to start using your degrees?” This blog is partly a response to that question.
Secondly, and more importantly, I want to encourage women as they seek to grow in their faith and balance the struggles of home, life, family, work, and the myriad of demands we face for our time and attention. Our hopes and dreams often get pushed aside when just making it through the end of day is an accomplishment. All the little things can distract us from the joy and hope we have in Christ. Lets remember our Hope and find joy again.
I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. I also serve as an affiliate for other companies. While compensation may be received for posts or advertisements, I will always give my honest opinions and experiences on those topics or products. My purpose in this is to share with you products I have enjoyed and think you will, too, while also providing for my family.
