Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
  • ½ lb. bacon
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small can chopped mushrooms
  • 1 - 1½ cups grated Swiss or cheddar cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ c milk
  • 5 oz. evaporate milk
  • ½ tsp seasoning salt
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 9 in. deep dish pie crust
Instructions
  1. Fry bacon until crisp. Set aside.
  2. Saute onions and mushrooms.
  3. Mix together eggs, evaporated milk, milk, seasoning salt, and Worchestershire sauce.
  4. Crumble bacon and add to onions and mushrooms.
  5. Sprinkle half of the cheese in bottom of the pie crust.
  6. Spread meat mixture over cheese.
  7. Pour egg mixture on top.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  9. Bake on 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
