I am so excited to announce that I am joining with Courtney of Women Living Well in her call to blog through the Bible. This is something I have wanted to do for some time and even started making notes on this summer. I am so glad Courtney has also felt called to do so (and am really excited that she’s already worked through the organization!). I have followed along with her ministries at Women Living Well and Good Morning Girls for years and am excited about the organization and insight she will bring to this endeavor. The Bible is a rich guidebook written by God and intended for thoughtful study and prayerful consideration.
I invite you to visit Women Living Well for the plan of the reading, but I would like to comment how very doable this is. Many whole Bible reading plans are very daunting in the amount of Scripture you must read each day, and for me, getting behind always meant giving up. I love that the idea here is just a chapter a day. It’s so doable. And the books aren’t in a specific order so you can join or leave at any time. The books for September are Esther, 1 and 2 Peter, 1, 2, and 3 John, and Psalm 1-2.
I plan to blog about the reading on Tuesdays and Fridays, however this is subject to change. As I develop the blog over the next couple of months, I hope to create a consistent schedule. Courtney will also be blogging on Wednesdays and Fridays, along with posting reading schedules and other resources, so I encourage you to check out Women Living Well, too!
