Welcome to Day 3 of 31 Days to Life on Purpose!
Today, I want you to stop and think about where you are. Before you can truly pursue a life of purpose, you need to evaluate where you are and what you’re doing. When you are living a life that keeps you constantly busy, you are not able to take the time to evaluate how thinges are going. You can’t begin to make positive changes until you are aware of how things really are.
I want you to think about your days. Ask yourself these questions:
- Do I like what I do?
- Are there certain activities that leave me feeling drained?
- What activities give me joy?
- What things occupy most of my time?
- What habits do I have?
- If my days keep going as they are, where will I be in six months? In a year? In five years?
- Is that where I want to be?
Today’s post is short because I want you to take the time to stop and think. Journal your thoughts so that you can look back over them throughout the month. Don’t start making actions plans now or start thinking about where you want to be. We’ll get to that, but first, you need to really evaluate where you are before you can decide the route needed to get to your destination. I also don’t want you to get discouraged by this activity. The goal of this activity is to create a starting point for you to pursue purposeful living.
