It is halfway through the month of October, a.k.a. halfway through the 31 Days challenge. My title for the challenge is “31 Days to a New Blog.” I really wanted to give this blog thing a go, but I never seemed to be able to make myself get started. Some things I’ve learned so far:
*Posts take time. And if I want them to be written well, I must make more time.
*It’s okay to write about a topic other than what I planned. Before starting, I planned a topic for every day. I have not stuck to that at all, for various reason. Sometimes, I haven’t had the time to prepare the topic in the way that I wanted. Other times, something else has been on my heart to write.
*Pictures help. I know that my posts without visuals appear boring. I’m still learning how to really make use of media. It took me a long time just to figure out how to insert a picture. I have so much to learn.
I am really looking forward to the Allume Conference because of the learning opportunities it will afford. It’s only 9 days away!!! I’m ready to go be a sponge, soaking up all this new information that I can put into practice. I’m also looking forward to the fellowship. I am going by myself, and I can’t wait to meet new women and to share and incredible this conference with them.
