Welcome back to 31 Days to Less Stress! Over the past week, we have taken a look at our priorities and what causes our stress and created some action steps for dealing with these. Today, we are going to look back at the weekly plan and see where changes need to be made.
How did your week go? After you planned it last Friday, did it go according to plan? Was it any less stressful? How did your time spent align with your priorities?
Today, I want you to plan for next week, keeping in mind all that you have considered this week. Plan your priorities first. Make sure your schedule is accurately reflecting what is important to you. Think about what causes your stress and put the changes you need to make on your calendar so you’ll see them.
Planning is key to reducing our stress, but if you are still packing your schedule full, little is going to change. Sit down and really think about what your schedule needs to look like for you to be less stressed. Take the time to pray about what changes you need to make to live a life that honors God and serves those around you without running you ragged and stealing your joy.
